July 2010 News:
Is your July as busy as mine? Downtown is hopping!!
Tall Ships are in the river Thursday through Sunday, July 18. Make plans to come see the beauty of these ships. More details at tallshipcelebration.com. After you visit the ships, we will be open late on Saturday until 8:00 p.m. I'll be gone "to market" so expect my new finds to arrive starting the end of July.
Sidewalk Sales in Downtown Bay City are July 22-24. Little House will be open Thursday 9-7, Friday 9-7, and Saturday 9-5. The tents will be out front and packed full of bargains. Something new this year on Saturday is "Sweet Saturday." With a $5.00 purchase you will receive a jelllybean treat with a chance to win extra prizes at participating stores. Thank you to all who donated to the Pink Fund while it was at Little House. With your help we raised $350! If you missed the big pink polka-dot piggy bank at the store, (say that 3 times fast) look for it while visiting other Bay City businesses.

The Pink Fund Piggy Bank is on my counter during the month of June - Small change, big difference! The Pink Fund provides short-term financial aid in the form of direct payments for breast cancer patients in active treatment who have lost their stream of income. It will help pay their basic living expenses such as rent, mortgage, insurance, or utility bills while in treatment. You can make a difference in someone’s life! Downtown Diva Weekend!
Divas love to shop, so Little House will be open until 7pm this Thursday, May 6th during the 1st-Thursdays Gallery Walk, and until 8pm this Friday, May 7th. This Saturday, May 8th, at Little House you can choose your favorite color of lipstick for a chance to win great prizes (limit one per purchase).
I hope you have your tickets for the two main events. There are still tickets left for Cocktails In The City on Friday, but sorry, Saturday's Brunch is sold out. The State Theater is showing three great movies throughout the weekend.
